A co-parenting app for iPhone
Two houses. One family.
Neither parent is in charge.
The custody calendar, tasks and handoffs, expenses, documents and messages, in one place both parents can see, each from their own account.
The street is a drawing and the family is made up. What the words say is what the app does.
Monday
The same calendar hangs on both doors.
One custody calendar. Both parents see the same days, the same colors and the same labels: Parent A in indigo, Parent B in sage, exchange days outlined in amber with the handoff time written on the day.
What each parent can edit depends on their own plan. Days stay “Parent A” and “Parent B” until both parents confirm the names for that month.
Wednesday
The backpack crosses the street.
An exchange day is a day on the calendar with a handoff time on it. That is all Vivenly keeps about it: the app does not ask for your device’s location, and nobody checks in.
On the Custody plan, a rotation like week on / week off, 2-2-3 or 3-4-4-3 fills in 90 days in one step. Touch and hold any day to adjust.
Thursday
A task changes hands.
A handoff asks the other parent to take over one task, or to take back one they handed to you. It starts from the task, can carry a note, and the other parent accepts or declines it in Handoffs.
Vivenly records who sent each handoff and when it was accepted or declined. The task moves to the parent who accepted it.
Friday
The receipt, and who paid.
Either parent can add a shared expense, and both see the same list. Split it 50/50, 70/30, or one parent covers it; Vivenly works out each share to the cent and keeps a running balance of who owes whom.
Adding, editing, settling, reopening and deleting are recorded with the name of the person who did it. Settling is a status change, not a payment: Vivenly does not move money.
Saturday
A message, stamped.
Messages are between the two parents only. Each one is stamped by the server with the time it was sent and the sender’s name as entered, and it cannot be edited or deleted in the app.
Notifications never show the message text. Either parent can pause messaging; the other parent can see that it is paused, and every shared record stays open to both.
Sunday
Both porches lit.
Every Sunday, Today offers a Weekly Huddle for parents and step-parents: this week’s tasks, parent by parent; a schedule check; shared costs to track; and notes both parents can edit.
Any day of the week, the Vault holds the same things for both houses: documents, child profiles, emergency contacts and Shared Info. The Vault is on the Free plan.
Who lives on the street
Two keys, cut the same.
Each parent has their own account and sees the same family. Neither parent can remove the other from the family or close the other’s account.
On Pro or Custody, a parent can invite a step-parent or a caregiver (a grandparent, a sitter, a trusted helper) and decide what they can see and do, with simple switches. Caregivers cannot see children’s health information. Two parents at most; children are profiles, never accounts.
One roof works too. Setup asks whether you are co-parenting, a blended family, in the same household or parenting solo, and the calendar, tasks, expenses and Vault are the same in every case.
Good night, street.
